Dream Notion – Noun

1. A concept or idea that forms in your mind, in the way that occurs just before falling asleep that would normally spark a dream.
2. An idea that draws together connections between ideas you ordinarily would not have connected.
3. Almost, but not quite, slipping into a daydream. Non-visual concepts that might appear visually.

The other day I was sitting by the fireplace and had a sudden flash of inspiration. A dream notion came to me, and I finally understood how to finish writing the chapter.
