To Aline — A Better Definition

Many dictionaries1 2 3 list this aline a variant of align, I think it would better serve the English language with a different definition.

To Aline

Verb /əˈlaɪn/

The subject enters a meditative state and follows a continuous linear object as the subject and the object move.

Example: She sat by the train window, looking out a window. Alined with the parallel rails and the undulating overhead power cables, she started to fall into a trance.
